Classical bath masterclass
Date: 2022-10-27, 15:00
It is the last seminar of the sauna masterclass level 2, where we brush up on the student's practical skills while testing what they have learned during the two weekends of intensive training. The seminar is unique because two teachers allow for comprehensive advice. During this seminar, participants will present their skills after completing all the mandatory practical topics of the Family Bath Masters Course and will try to obtain the Family Bath Masters Certificate.
Each participant is given up to 40 minutes to prepare for the workplace and perform a classic bath and a natural body scrub - the essential professional sauna treatments.
Bath mastership requires practice
The models for the credit are fellow students. Lecturers and students observe the performance and have the opportunity to discuss their work with the lecturers. Lecturers show where the student can still improve. If the participant wishes, they can have their work evaluated on a 6-point system. We consider bathing and scrubbing separately and confirm the assessment if the overall average score is above 3.5. We also require that both skills, bathing, and scrubbing, taken independently, are scored at least 3 points.
Objectives of the assessment
- To become familiar with the working skills of active sauna students
- To create a safe and friendly environment for the exchange of sauna skills
- To develop individual working skills with the sauna client
- To improve the professional qualifications of the participants
- To test the work of student sauna practitioners under realistic conditions
- Evaluate and discuss the participants' performances
- To give the participants a family sauna attestation
