Nudity
Nudity etiquette and customs vary around the world. There are hygienic and health reason for not wearing a swimsuit in the sauna. Clothes carry dirt and bacteria, especially swimsuits may have chemicals such as chlorine that people breath in the sauna. The swimsuit also traps the sweat and blocks the pores from sweating out the toxins. It is better to wear a towel if nudity is not a cultural norm.
