Et svedebad er det vi gør, når vi går i sauna, dampbad el. lign. hvor svedkirtlerne aktiveres og vi på den måde kommer af med affaldsstoffer og døde hudceller m.m. Selv neglene på en skorstenfejer kan blive rene ved denne badeform - helt uden brug af neglebørste.
