Whisking is one of the most intriguing and effective techniques in the Lithuanian sauna tradition. Many join sauna courses specifically to learn this practice. To modern sauna-goers, whisking may seem exotic, yet just a few centuries ago, it was widespread across Europe. By mastering whisking, you are reviving long-forgotten steam bath traditions.

While theoretical learning alone cannot replace hands-on practice, understanding the fundamental principles beforehand significantly improves comprehension and execution. By internalizing key biomechanical and physiological principles, sauna practitioners can optimize their technique and enhance both effectiveness and comfort.
